Our Approach

RIGOROUS AND ADAPTIVE EVALUATION DESIGN

Our evaluations blend data and design thinking, using mixed methods and quasi-experimental approaches to follow participants over time and understand what’s changing. We lead process, outcome, and impact-oriented studies at local, national, and regional levels, always tailoring our methods to the people and places we serve. Each evaluation is designed to generate credible evidence that helps our partners make better decisions, strengthen systems, and grow lasting impact.

PLAY-BASED ENGAGEMENT

We bring curiosity and creativity into every stage of our work. Our approach draws on research in brain science showing that play activates the parts of the brain responsible for memory, collaboration, and problem solving. We use a mix of creative techniques such as storytelling, visual thinking, movement, and reflection in nature depending on what each group needs. These playful and trauma informed practices spark conversation and build trust.

SYSTEMS LEARNING AND CACPACITY BUILDING

We help partners make sense of data and turn it into insight they can use. Our team guides collaborative learning processes that make evidence meaningful and practical. Depending on the project, we draw on approaches such as evidence synthesis, contribution analysis, and learning workshops to explore what the findings mean and how they can inform action. We are especially experienced in building capacity with young people, local institutions, and advisory councils so that communities can continue generating and using evidence with confidence long after our work together ends.
